Luke phoned on Saturday 26th June while I was at studio packing my bags for flying south
I agreed to have artwork sent by Saturday
The request only that the artwork be ‘neutral’
I held in prayer since Saturday that God would reveal the work through me
I carried my camera everywhere that week for when this moment would happen
I would pray through each day, and at night before I blew out the candle for sleep
It snowed in Queenstown over the Bella Vista Hotel on the Monday night
Wednesday 30th June (last day of June), walking with Mum, Dad and Liv – in Arrowtown
I walked across a bridge suspended above the water streaming downwards from around the bend. The light was beautiful, I had a sense that we were on
Mum and Dad walked ahead naturally and Liv and I were walking along beside the river
I went down to the riverbank
I made a snowball with my hands, the scale of which would rest between my hands; with my fingertips and palms touching
Approximately the size of a tennis ball
I placed each ball of snow (6) with my right hand on to my right foot suspended above the water, then lowering my foot into the river
Thank you Olivia Hartfield for taking these photographs, for her patience and willingness, focus and timing
